Crescent Creek
Crescent Creek Park is Teulon’s Award Winning, Premier 50+ Manufactured Home Park. Formerly known as Meadowlark, Crescent Creek was constructed in 1994 by a private developer. The Town of Teulon acquired ownership of the Park in November, 2001 and at that time there were 14 homes in the Park with lots already developed to accommodate 6 additional homes. The Park is 40 acres in size and was originally designed for 130 homes. Now in 2007, there are 38 homes in the Park.
Residents own their homes and rent the lots from the Town of Teulon. Included in the rent is the option for full yard maintenance such as snow clearing and grass cutting. Lots are relatively large averaging 60’x 120’.
The pride of the Park is the beautiful 2000 square foot recreation centre that is available for the residents’ use. This beautiful building boasts a fireplace, full kitchen, a comfortable seating area and a fantastic view of the pond. There is also a storage compound for recreational vehicles. The use of this is included in the rent.
Residents of Crescent Creek are responsible for paying taxes on their home. The average tax bill in Crescent Creek is about $1500/year. There is a $500 fee to reserve a lot. The $500 will hold the lot for up to one year. Once the home is moved in, there is a lot set-up fee of $3500. This fee covers such things as the driveway, gravel pad for the home, a sidewalk, 4 trees and sod.
