Teulon Day Care
Teulon Day Care Inc. is a government licensed not for profit day care centre. We are licensed for 32 pre-school children, 4 infants and 10 school-age children. We are open from 7.00 a.m. till 5.45 p.m. Monday -Friday, year round.
During our day in the centre the children will have a chance to do Art projects, have story time, music time and play with other children both inside and outside. Qualified staff will make sure that all the activities and toys are right for the age groups. We work together with the parents to make sure the children are provided with opportunities to develop mentally and physically.
We also run a Before and After School Program for children 6-12 years of age. We walk the children to school in the morning and bring them back after school. We offer help with homework if needed/desired. During in-service days and vacations we offer a school-age program. We make sure that there are age appropriate activities for the school age children for all the times they spend with us.
In March 2007 we moved into a brand new building designed specifically as a day care. We are located right in Green Acres Park which gives us access to the soccer fields, new playground and the skating rink. We run a special pre-school program for the 4 year olds; this program helps them with all the important pre-kindergarten skills. If needed we provide referrals for speech and language programs and work together with other agencies to make sure the children get the best start in life.
