Teulon Senior Resource Council is a non-profit organization providing services to the general public in and around the areas of Teulon, Inwood, Komarno, Malonton, Narcisse, Gunton, and Chatfield. It is a community owned program which is run by a board of volunteers from local organizations. Funding for the program is provided by governments, annual donations and fundraising events.
We find volunteers to provide such services as telechecks, friendly visits, escorts to appointments or shopping, running errands, helping access information and filling out forms, adopt-a-grandparent, and volunteer income tax program. We loan out medical equipment for a nominal fee. There is a “Men’s Chat Group” every Friday at the Senior Resource office. We also have E.R.I.K. (Emergency Response Information Kit) forms. E.R.I.K. are magnetized information kits that attach to a fridge for emergency responders, and offer Victoria Lifeline services.
Other services we offer include finding housecleaners, handi-helpers, help with laundry, yard maintenance and transportation. These services are offered for a fee.
We are open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Our office is wheelchair accessible, and is equipped with a wheelchair accessible washroom.
